So I’m back…. In Mexico. And I´m absolutely LOVING it!!!!

I’ve only been here for like 24 hours, but it feel so right, and its been fun! Really, nothing has happened… Jenny and Marie are here with me, so I’ve been showing them around in Ensenada…. I’ve had the Tacos I’ve longed so for, and been down town and to ZoTaza. Giezi and I have been jeeping, driving around with no meaning, I’ve started watching a movie, been hanging out with Kelsey in the café and shopping for stuff for the café, had dinner and pancakes for breakfast (yay!), had hospitality brunch, and I’ve done laundry. And a lot more stuff…. And its not raining (yet), over 30 Celsius and NO clouds- YAY again!! There hasn’t been to much change here, a couple of new people, and some new babies, but nothing too bad. Haha. The kids on the base had grown a LOT, but that’s ok.

So, on the way down here, Jenny, Marie and I stopped in San Diego to say hi to Erika… We went to Pacific Beach and Marie took a swim in the water. We talked to Eirik on the phone from Montana. And when we went to the YWAM office in San Diego and said hi to Ingvar, and got to meet their baby boy, Teyus. He´s beautiful, and pretty big….

The firemen came walking towards us on the sidewalk, and I was like "Erika, picture this: I take a pic of the car, and then they come and say like ´you want a picture with us?´". Well, that was not exactly what happened.. They came walking towards us and one of them said "You can climb in if you want to, and we can take a picture of you!" lol

Halloween ble HalloVenn for meg da Erika tok turen fra San Diego til Los Angeles for å se meg! (lættis ordspill)

 

So, so far California had been great! We have been shopping, been to Jenny’s college, Hollywood and seen High School musical 3. The top of it all, Erika came up from San Diego to LA to see me today! It was great! J

Jenny goes to COC- College of the Canyons. It’s a community college, but still pretty big… We were there in her music classes and some of the dance class. It was such a cool school, and we met a lot of her friends, and they were great too!

Yesterday we went shopping, just Marie and I, while Jenny was at school and work. After that we headed to Hollywood to go and see High School Musical 3, on El Capitan! It was sooo much fun!! They made like a big show out of it, and 2 of Jenny’s friends ended up going up on stage and they won prices for singing the High School Musical songs! Fun! Outside in the lobby of the theatre, a lot of the props from the movies were displayed, so that was kinds cool too.

While we were in Hollywood, we also got to see Walk Of Fame and Chinese Man Theatre.

So today was great, Erika came up last night, spend the night at her aunts, and came and picked me up this morning. We had birthday coffee at starbucks and ice cream/frozen yogurt at Pinkberry. And just talked, and talked and talked… I have no word to explain how amazingly good it was to see Erika again!!! For those of you who don’t know: Erika and I took our DTS in Ensenada together, and she was one of my absolutely best friends there. Later, we met up with Jenny and Marie, who had been to a dancing show at COC.

We went to downtown LA and Beverly Hills, Bel Air and saw UCLA. It was pretty cool! J Amazing houses, got to say that.

We left LA, and drove up to the LA YWAM base, to visit Johny, one of our friends form the Ensenada base. He is doing his SOMD there, and it was good to see him again, and cool to see the base! We met Berry House, a guy that spoke on our DTS, so that was cool. Erika drove back to SD pretty early to be there in time for some volunteer work, and Johny got a ride with her to go back to Ensenada for a weekend visit.

Right now, Jenny is playing the piano, Marie is taking a shower, and I´m writing this… We´ve had a couple of kids here going trick or treating, and soon we are leaving to go and hang out with some of Jenny’s friends.

 

It  craaazy to think about the fact that I will be in Ensenada again in 6 days, but I am really looking forward to it as well…

California- here we are!!!

 

A good trip. I long trip. But a good trip.

I met Marie in London, we had Starbucks and then walked around before heading over to the gate… We switched seats so that we could sit together, and ended up being two of the first ones in line to enter the aircraft… So we sat in the aircraft about 1½ hours before we took off- there were some difficulties and technical problem, I think….

With over a 100 movies to choose from, I though the plane ride would go by fast, but after a while I understood that 11 hours never really go fast… It was still a good ride, with about 20 min of sleep…

Entering the US went find, finding the baggage not so much- we were told to wait at baggage claim 3, then 6 and then back to 3 again… And there where about 500 people moving with us the whole time, so it was PACKED and hard to get the baggage off the claim, and move it away from the claim. Finding Amy at the other side of the toll gate, however, went easy, even though she had been waiting for us for 1 ½ hours…

Amy is Jenny´s host sister, and she is great. Other than that, Jennys family contain one other sister; Melanie or Minnie, and a mom and a dad, Murph and Mike.

AND HER HOUSE IS GREAT!!!!! Especially that backyard with hot-tub! ME LIKE!

So we are here, find a whole, and it was SO good to see Jenny again, she came home from a job- meeting about 45 min after we got to her house.

YAY- We´re together agin!!!!!!! We just miss Tonje and Kaja……………..
