Still going strong...

..and still without pictures... sorry...

We're still in Tecate. After 12 days here, I feel like I know the town- and I've had many early morning walks during the last days. We've found our spot at the local cafe and the road to SuperLay and Gigante has been walked a couple of times. The base is all new- an old building, but new to YWAM- so the internet has not been working. Those with laptops have found their place on the balcony, using the neighbors wireless, or at McDonalds, the only place with free wireless we've found so far. The rest of us have found our way the the internet cafe, where the cost is 8 pesos (80 cents, about 4 NOK) for 1 hour. SWEET! 

We've been painting the base, inside and outside, visiting orphanages, had open air in colonials and in parks and meeting a lot of new, wonderful people. The base here has only Mexicans as staff, so the food has been good (and sometimes spicy...) and the meals never on time. It's Mexico... I've been in a clown costume countless times, and 2 weeks into our 8 week long outreach we're already tired of our dramas. The bedroom has been full with 14 girls, and the one bathroom & shower has been used by all 20 girls. 

Its a lot of fun. 

Way different, but a lot of fun. 

The spanish has been used a lot more than in Ensenada, and I still get surprised over how friendly Mexicans are. 

God has shown me a lot of things, and He IS good!
